We're glad you're here! Mary & Martha is a St. Martin de Porres Women's Faith Sharing Ministry. Named for the story in Luke 10:38-42, we recognize the need to be more like Mary…to sit at the feet of Jesus, well, to sit anywhere and be still and listen! We also strive to get everything done like Martha and know that as moms, wives, employees, and with the numerous hats we wear, it is necessary to do both. The timing of what to do when is what is important. We want to learn to live in the “and” and be both Mary & Martha depending on what is needed. Jesus’s words to Martha point this out, “Mary has chosen the better part.” At that moment, she was where she needed to be.
